OKLAHOMA CITY -- March 11, 2018 – Remington Park conducted seven trials on Sunday to set the field of 10 for the $178,375 Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa FuturityCap Attack roared to a 1-1/2 length win in his career debut, winning the sixth trial while covering 300 yards in :15.377 over a fast track.

The seven Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity trials received extra push from a northerly wind that moved between 19-22mph during the heats. Cap Attack impressed for owners Planefun LLC of Broken Arrow, Okla. and trainer Dee Keener. Cap Attack was ridden by Rolando Raudales.

Cap Attack was bred in Oklahoma by Dean & Dusty Cole. He is a 2-year-old Paint gelding by Capo De Capi (qh) from the Judys Lineage mare Takin On Judy.

Trainer Matt Whitekiller sent four from his barn to the Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, including DTL Rousey, Valiant Jess, Live Moonshine and DTL Harley Quinn.

The 2018 American Quarter Horse Season at Remington Park continues Thursday thru Sunday, March 15-18. The first race is at 6pm nightly, except for Sunday afternoon, when the action starts at 1:30pm. All times are Central.
